What are the advantages for students?
Start immediately
Students can enrol in the Diploma of Business Administration at any point during the year, as opposed to joining a class-based study program at only one or two occasions. This allows students to begin study at any time.
Savings on travel and living expenses
Many applicants do not have sufficient finance to be able to study in Australia for their first year. The Diploma of Business Administration allows students to remain in their home country and save thousands of dollars on travel and living expenses.
Guaranteed conditional offer for a placement in the second year of a CQUniversity business degree
Students who enrol in the Diploma of Business Administration will be guaranteed a conditional offer in the Bachelor of Business program the following year (with one full year's credit towards their degree).
Study at your own pace
You can choose when and where you study, when to begin your course and how long it will take you to finish (up to 12 months). If you wish, you can complete the course in much less time. You will not need to travel to a classroom or make time for someone else's schedule. All you need is a computer and access to the Internet.
Online learning is simple and flexible
Your course will be broken down into small easy steps, which you can take one at a time. You can review all information in the course whenever necessary. Because there are no set deadlines, just a process to complete, your online learning experience can be an individual journey instead of a rushed package tour.
Round-the-clock training support
You will have access to trainer support throughout your learning experience. Our trainers come from a variety of backgrounds and are industry experts with extensive experience. You can contact our trainers by phone or e-mail, and all assignments will be marked within 48 hours.
Our courses also provide online student discussion forums where you can interact with other students taking the same course. Because the course is online and students may come from all over the world, you can have access to a broader range of student knowledge and experiences than would be available in a classroom.
High quality training materials
Our course material is relevant, fun and interactive, which keeps the student engaged. The course will provide a virtual workplace, which will allow you to put into practice the skills you are developing through the course. The course will also provide access to online libraries with a wealth of news, periodicals and articles relating to each subject.
Ideal for high school students
You no longer need to complete your high school education before beginning study towards your university degree. The Certificate II in Business, which is available as part of the Diploma of Business Administration, is open to students who have completed the equivalent of Australian Year 10. This means that you can begin credit towards your university degree while still at school.
